As a stalker, you live inside danger. Between space-time paradoxes, high radiation, mutated monstrosities roaming around and rival stalkers, death lurks at every corner.

But today, on top of the usual threats you face every time you set foot inside the Exclusion Zone, you are struck by an unknown kind of terror...

You are lost.

And you don't know who you are anymore...

The only thing you remember is that you're a stalker, out on a job. The inscrutable forces ruling over the Zone have swallowed everything else... Will you be able to retrieve your fragmented memories, disseminated through the Zone, and piece them together?

And even if you do, will you make it out of the Exclusion Zone alive?

Escape the Zone is the sequel to Into the Zone, my popular one-page TTRPG. This time, the ruleset is proprietary, the character creation is more in-dept and the adventure lasts way longer. It also features alternate endings, random generator tables to create your own adventures, a progression system and an incredibly evocative layout by Brian Shutter, of Neon Lords of the Toxic Wasteland fame.

Included is a beautiful character sheet made by Pierre-Philippe Renaud (https://publicaction-coupcritique.itch.io/)

Hello. This may be a stupid question, but is it possible to play this in co-op mode?

Hi! Your question isn't stupid at all. You could absolutely play it as a GM-less co-op game. I would simply adjust the difficulty by doubling the number of enemies, having both players roll against Anomalies and maybe adjust the loot accordingly. I think it would work great, actually!

Thank you very much! I will definitely try it.

I picked up the hardcopy from EF.  Fantastic game and setting!

Thank you, Mr. Hand! I'm glad you like it!

I've gotten several roadside picnic/stalker flavored games. This has been the most aligned with my time/style - Play on the go. Minimal RPG. Cool little system, great flavor. I hope to see add-ons/expansions.  Definitely hits the notes of this sci-fi subgenre.

Thank you very much, I really appreciate it! And a return to the zone may very well be in the cards! :)

A fun experiment in bringing the ZONE to tabletop. Very freeform feeling and provides a fun couple of hours for the player. Definitely worth a try if you are a STALKER or Roadside Picnic fan.

Keep up the great work!

Hey Alexander! It took a long time but it was worth the while IMO. Let me know what you think if you play! Your feedback on the first game was very valued  and guided me while writing this.

Super! Also, added to Goodreads:
